Some of those photos just make my heart skip a beat! Others show a man who just wants to be left alone. No matter how, where, with whom, or what angle or pose he’s in, he’ll always be America’s touchstone, it’s poet laureate, and a fine example of a man who, like one of his influences, Frank Sinatra, did it his way.
I wonder if the photos of him in the French park with the iron gate was the inspiration for him to build gates? Loved the photo of him standing in front of one of his gates holding a bottle of his whiskey! The striped pants and tall boots were a cool victorian touch! Beautiful collection! Thank you!
